Hey YALL! I’m Laney. My real name is Elaine, but I’m not your 80 year old grandma so that’s why I mostly go by Laney. I'm 5'9".

I’m majoring in biology and love the sciences in general (social sciences don’t count.) I’m a college soccer player at UC Davis; we’re in the process of entering Division 1 so right now we’re considered independents. We’ve beat Stanford in 4 sports this year: Football, Men’s Soccer, Wrestling, and Men’s Basketball.

I’m actually transferring though this fall to go play at a school in Arkansas for 2 reasons:
1. My coach is a bich
2. I’m injury prone

I listen to a lot of music, especially country. The only thing I don’t really listen to is rap, although… I can’t always get away from it.
I post in the sports forum because sports are my life. I love every aspect of athletics from the competition to the friendships that can be made. I play golf during the summer and wakeboard whenever I have time between working and training. I love to snowboard during the winter, also, when I’m not working.


One of my huge flaws is the fact that I feel like I need to prove myself ALL THE TIME. I have to make sure people understand me; I can’t just let things go.

My favorite athletic teams are:
NCAA: Oregon Ducks (pretty much any sport)
I also love KU basketball
NFL: Vikings
NBA: Kings
MLB: Cubs overall, but I like the A’s in the AL

I absolutely HATE anything that is associated with the University of TEXAS

I hate onions
wigger boys annoy me
I don't like "bisexual" people, I just think they say that purely for attention.

Something else a littlebit weird about me: I believe in stereotypes; if there wasn't a reason for the stereotype then there wouldn't be one. However, I do believe there are EXCEPTIONS to stereotypes.
